From humble beginnings... Lau Choy Seng first opened its doors in 1948 as a clog-making business. However, in view of the vast potential the food and beverage industry displayed in the early 1960s, Lau Choy Seng ventured into kitchenware supply. By late 1960s, we began to self-import our products to provide quality products at competitive prices for our growing client base.
Over the course of steady growth, Lau Choy Seng relocated its retail outlet in 1993 which now occupies two units at 23 and 25 Temple Street. In 1999, we acquired our own 20,000 square feet warehouse in Tuas, and further expanded in 2007 where we acquired another 45,000 square feet warehouse that has enabled us to better cater to the various requirements and needs of our increasing local and overseas client base.
Where quality is being assured by us... We passionately believe in understanding the needs of our clients in order to provide better services. Today, we are direct distributors and stockists for more than 30 brands and have over 20,000 products in our stock list. In addition, we now produce our own house brands of quality stainless steel pots/pans, Chinese kitchen knives and tools, kitchen equipments, chef coats, uniforms and aprons.
We now serve as a one-stop outlet where you will find high quality kitchenwares of comprehensive ranges at reasonable prices. So do make a trip down to Lau Choy Seng for your kitchen needs today!
